From rough concrete to a finished floor
A power float (power trowel) compacts the surface once the concrete has stiffened and polishes it in several passes to a closed, wear-resistant finish — the standard for industrial floors, warehouses and screeds. Lievers builds power floats from Ø 600 to 1200 mm: compact enough for edges, strong enough for continuous duty.
Battery power floats: quiet and zero-emission
The LTM eGX series with Honda 72 V battery technology floats a full working day without fumes or cables — approved for enclosed spaces where petrol machines are ruled out. Electric models (230/400 V) and petrol floats complete the range for every situation.
When do you start power floating?
As soon as the concrete is walkable and a footprint sinks only a few millimetres. First float flat with the disc, then finish in further passes with the blades pitched progressively steeper until you reach the sheen you want.
Float disc or float blades?
The float disc comes first: it levels and closes the surface. The blades follow for the actual finish. We supply both as genuine parts to fit every Lievers machine — from stock.
